Monetary Donations 

We receive about half of our operating funds from various levels of government and depend upon donations to fund a part-time archivist, and the computers, printers, scanners and materials necessary to the process of preservation. We also fund programs which expose our rich heritage to visitors and to our children. All donations are gratefully received, and are Income Tax deductible. Please note that we receipt all donations for $10 and above. We have listed some of the types of donations which can be made below, but to make a personal donation now there are three easy options:

Honorary Donation

Honorary donations have become an increasingly popular way of celebrating a memorable time in the life of a special person. You can celebrate the wedding, birthday, anniversary, retirement or special accomplishment of a relative, friend, loved one, or co-worker with a donation to Charlotte County Archives on their behalf. This is an excellent opportunity of acknowledging success and hard work while giving back to an excellent cause.

Corporate Donations

Being a good corporate citizen not only impacts the quality of life in the communities where you conduct business, but it also demonstrates and reinforces that you care about preserving the history and heritage of Charlotte County.  The message will come across loud and clear to the public: you are thankful to people for supporting your business and you want to give back to the community.

Leaving a bequest in your will is one of the most financially responsible ways of making a donation to the Charlotte County Archives as it allows you to arrange a gift to Charlotte County Archives while maintaining your cash flow and future financial security.

Memorial Donation

Many of our supporters choose to honour the memory of a loved one by setting up a memorial donation to 
Charlotte County Archives. In doing so, you can ensure that your loved ones will be remembered through support to a wonderful cause that is near and dear to their hearts.

Your membership runs from time of purchase for one calendar year. If renewing by mail, please send your membership form to the address below. 

Information Required
In fulfilling a membership request we need to collect your personal information, including: name, street address, city/town, province/state, zip/postal code, telephone and email address. Telephone information is requested on a voluntary basis and will only be used for communicating for purposes related to your membership.

Email information is collected as part of the standard payment process. If you do not wish to be informed of events and activities at Charlotte County Archives please include a note to that effect in the "Add special instructions to CCArchives" section of the order form.
